From City life🏙️to Island life🏝️

𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 -𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮 😅Once upon a traffic jam, may city girl na born and raised sa Manila: ako, si Rowena. Sanay sa hustle, surviving on coffee, taxi queues, at MRT adventures.

Pero one day, habang nasa traffic ng EDSA, bigla siyang napaisip:

“Ito na ba ’yon? Sa rush hour ba matatapos ang storya ko?”

Plot twist: HINDI. 😎🌊

I booked a one-way trip to the islands.

First time mag-snorkel.

I said “Paano ‘to? Sinusuot ba ‘to sa paa?” 😂

LOL.

But the ocean didn’t laugh — it embraced me.

With one dive, na-in love ako…

Not with an island boy (well, maybe later 😉) —

But with the life.

Now, from skyscrapers to seascapes,

From boardrooms to boats,

Rowena traded traffic for turtles 🐢

Deadlines for dive lines.

My friends ask:

“Kelan ka uuwi sa Manila?”

Rowena:

“Bakit? May reunion ba ang traffic?”

🌴 Today, I lead island expeditions, freedives with friends, and shares ocean magic for a living.

✨ Moral of the story?

Kung tinatawag ka na ng dagat… sumagot ka.

O gaya ko — tumalon at mag-dive ka.
